Joe Canham (Ngāpuhi) is a film & video editor and communicator based between the cities of Queenstown and Auckland, in Aotearoa New Zealand.
No one-trick pony, Joe's creativity and curiosity manifests itself in areas outside the film industry, including fine art photography and journalism. Joe operates a video production company turned full-service creative studio to house his diverse creative interests; Champion Creative - a company that aims to do better by people and planet.
Joe is well set up for remote post-production work in Queenstown, while prepared to relocate for the right job. If given the option, Joe always prefers to collaborate and build meaningful relationships in person.

Joe has been working in the film industry in New Zealand since completing a South Seas course in 2015, where he majored in post-production. Starting his journey as an assistant editor with some of New Zealand's most recognised commercial production companies and broadcasters, today Joe continues assisting while his sights are increasingly set on offline editing short-to-long-form television and film content.

Joe has emerged as a trusted voice in the field of tech sustainability and electronic waste management over the last few years. This came about due to his earlier contributions to online magazine The Spinoff and has grown to include interviews on national radio and television.
